Fear

Fear is a spirit, but it comes to us as an emotion and with fearful thoughts God’s Word the gives us as born again believers the authority over all spirits of darkness, and He has given us the powerful weapon of His Word. That spirit must leave at our command, but if we continue to entertain it in our thought life, it will stay.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 The Voice

The weapons of the war we’re fighting are not of this world but are powered by God and effective at tearing down the strongholds erected against His truth. We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One. As soon as you choose obedience, we stand ready to punish every act of disobedience.

We must make it a practice to always keep our thought life free of fear thoughts by choosing the Word of God over any thoughts contrary to God’s Word.

What are you fearing? Ask God to show you, repent, and substitute God’s Word for the fear. Don’t give the enemy any place (Eph 4:27), and lend your mind instead to what God thinks instead. (Phil 4:8)
