Hear God Every Day?

During a recent church service we were singing the song “Seek Ye 1st the Kingdom of God”. The last verse is “Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God….”. The Lord began to speak to me about this scripture. The scripture is found in Mathew 4:4 and Luke 4:4 when Jesus was answering satan’s temptations. God said to me that hearing Him is as vital as eating is to our body. We HAVE TO eat every day. It’s how we are able to live. Hearing God every day is just as vital as eating bc when we hear His voice and obey it, it grows us spiritually, protects us, leads us to blessing and defeats the enemy that would try to harm us in any way. Also, our carnal mind is not capable of living a truly successful life, and in fact, it works against life and God. The Bible says our carnal mind is enmity against God who is life. So get into the Bible and learn it so you know it’s God speaking to you, and practice hearing God every day. You won’t regret it.
