It’s Been a while….

Normally I have a post every week to 10 days, but as of late, not so much. I’ve weathered some challenges recently, one of which was that this site wouldn’t load. With that surmounted, here’s the post:

Romans 8:35 New King James Version

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

In the last few weeks what I faced didn’t compare to the challenges of the early church, but they were such that I had to stand on God’s Word rather than going by what I saw, felt, or thought. It wasn’t easy for me, but God is faithful. What stood out to me during this time was God encouraging me, leading me, comforting me, and healing me. One particularly hard day God gave me this scripture:

Hebrews 6:13-15Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

13 For when God made [His] promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear,

14 Saying, Blessing I certainly will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.

15 And so it was that he [Abraham], having waited long and endured patiently, realized and obtained [in the birth of Isaac as a pledge of what was to come] what God had promised him.

After I read this, God said to me, “I’m telling you that I am fulfilling every promise I’ve made to you bc I love you. Stand strong and receive your victory.”

His words to me gave me a supernatural peace, comfort, and flooded me with hope. Standing strong and receiving my victory by faith was now my natural response, and I could rejoice. He was telling me I wasn’t in this fight of faith alone. He was there and is there always to back me to victory over every negative circumstance as I do what He tells me to do. As I rejoiced my eyes were opened to all that God had all along been doing to help me. I also began to see those promises I’d been believing for manifest in my life one after another with more to come.

So it is with you, if you are a believer. Every promise is yours and nothing that you face in this life will separate you from His love toward you which moves you to victory over all the obstacles of life.

Romans 8:37New King James Version

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
