Happy Father’s Day!

Today we celebrate dads. Good dads and our heavenly Father have much in common. Luke 12:32 says, “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” A good dad gives his children whatever they need to flourish in his household and to prepare them for the future. That is how our heavenly Father is toward us. He’s given us everything we need for life and godliness (2Peter 1:3), and it’s His pleasure to do it. So on this Father’s Day as we honor Dads, let’s honor our heavenly Father and take by faith all that He has provided for us so that we can flourish and be successful in the times to come.
